How to Install kannel software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

kannel software package provides WAP and SMS gateway, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install kannel

kannel is installed in your system.

Make ensure the kannel package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kannel *

You will get with kannel package name, version, architecture and description in a table
